This month of March we are featuring an awesome band from the wilkes barre, Pennsylvania area.
They play rock/metal genre music. Their name is The Black Orkid..
The band is a 5 player rock band. The band started in 2003 with two brothers Mike(drums) and Jody Busch(guitar). Later in the summer of 2004 they acquiring bassist Phil Pizano. The three of them will go on to form the nucleus of the band. Since then the three had several line up changes and tried dozen of people for the second guitarist and frontman position. Finally in March of 2006 they found an awesome frontman Jason Pieczynski(old friend of the brothers) was entered in the mix, and it was exactly what the three of them was looking for the Frontman. Three months later after dropping their current guitarist then hooked up with Chris Ruth.. The Band was Final complete, It was what everyone was looking for .No Rockstar Attitude, No drugs or Alcohol issues, Just five guys that wanted to make awesome music. The Members have played in such acts as--Magnus, Stalemate, burial Ground, Tapus, One month addiction, and end of the grey.
The Black Orkid are Proud to say that they were nourished by the rich roots of Pennsylvania underground hardcore and Punk rock scene,. The Black Orkid is truly an original Band.. They play from their heart and soul, they try not to mimic other bands and they make themselves totally original with their sound and lyrics. In 2007 , Bassist Phil Pizano stepped down gracefully from his position in the band due to personal reasons. Phil honorably passed the torch to musical veteran and friend of the band, Corey Kime……..

This band will be featured for a whole month of Wild Wolf Radio.
We will be playing their music very soon. Also in the Middle to the End of the month I will have a few of the members if not all of them from the band here to do a live interview on the air.
